New Orleans Passenger Lists and Immigration Records: Filling in the Gaps New Orleans passenger lists for 1820-1902 are available on National Archives (NARA) Microfilm Publication M259 - Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at New Orleans, Louisiana, 1820-1902 and these New Orleans passenger lists are indexed online. See: New Orleans Passenger Lists Index 1820-1963. However, the microfilm series and the online index are both missing passenger lists for the first 3 months of 1845 and the first 3 months of 1847. The purpose of this website is to reconstruct those missing lists from these two alternate sources...
